Company profile
Commercial workplace ergonomics manufacturer covering display support and adjustable workstations.
Product coverage
Monitor arms, sit-stand desks, keyboard supports, lighting and ergonomic accessories.
Company background
Workrite Ergonomics was founded in 1991 in Petaluma, California, where it developed an early palm rest for keyboard trays and built out a line of height-adjustable keyboard platforms, monitor arms and sit-stand workcenters. Workrite has operated since July 2007 as a subsidiary of Knape & Vogt Manufacturing Co., a Michigan-based furniture-hardware maker owned by Chicago private equity firm Wind Point Partners — not, as sometimes assumed, an Ergotron affiliate. As of 2025, Workrite's president is Scott McPartlin, while Brian Nadel serves as CEO of both Workrite and parent Knape & Vogt.
