Editorial purpose
Our purpose is to help professional buyers understand who operates in the office furniture market, what companies publicly offer, where they operate, which products are documented and what public pricing or customs evidence can support further research.
Source hierarchy
We prefer official manufacturer websites, catalogues, technical documents, public stores, corporate registries and official customs or classification sources. Authorised distributor sources may supplement a record when clearly labelled. Search summaries, scraped fragments and third-party directories are not treated as equivalent to a primary source.
Automatically generated profiles
Some company profiles are initially assembled from publicly available sources using structured and automated methods. Automation supports collection and formatting; it does not convert unverified claims into fact. Profiles disclose their provenance and remain subject to editorial review, correction and removal of unsupported material.
Products and public price signals
Named products are included only when a source supports the manufacturer and product relationship. Public price signals are contextual evidence, not quotations. We aim to identify currency, market, tax status, configuration limits and source date where available. Missing detail is left missing rather than invented.
Company inclusion and ranking
Inclusion reflects relevance, evidence quality and research coverage. It does not mean a company is approved, authorised in every market or commercially recommended. Current index placement is not sold. If sponsored or paid formats are introduced later, they will be visibly labelled and kept separate from independent records.
Corrections and claims
Authorised representatives can claim a profile to provide corrections and official sources. Claims establish a verification channel but do not give a company control over independent analysis. We assess evidence, conflicts and public-interest context before making a change.
Trade data and analytical interpretation
Customs reports distinguish source data from calculations, rankings and commentary. Coverage, product boundaries, valuation differences, missing reporters and bilateral asymmetries are disclosed. We do not present aggregate customs values as individual company sales, customer purchases or market revenue.
Updates, conflicts and contact
Material corrections take priority over cosmetic changes. We record source dates where practical and review high-impact claims when new evidence appears. Anyone contributing to a record should disclose a relevant commercial relationship. Send correction requests, source questions or concerns to [email protected].
