Company background
Tuna Ofis traces its roots to 1970, when the Tuna Grup family business was founded as Tuna Çelik in Turkey. In 1992, Tuna Ofis formed a joint venture, Tuna Girsberger A.Ş., with Switzerland’s Girsberger Holding AG (founded 1889), investing in ergonomic seating production for the Turkish market. Its manufacturing facility in Silivri, on Istanbul’s outskirts, was established in 1999, covers roughly 55,000 square meters, and produces approximately 70,000 office chairs annually. Tuna Ofis remains part of the family-owned Tuna Grup, which also owns the Tuna Ev home-furniture brand, and serves major Turkish institutional clients across banking, aviation, automotive, and healthcare sectors.
