Company background
Kinnarps was founded in 1942 when Jarl and Evy Andersson bought a carpenter's shop in the small Swedish village of Kinnarp; the company shifted its focus to office furniture in 1952 and remains 100% family-owned by the founders' children and grandchildren. Headquartered in Kinnarp, Sweden, the group operates six production facilities across Sweden, in Kinnarp, Jönköping, Skillingaryd, Vinslöv, and two sites in Tranås, and reported roughly 1,700 employees, around 250 sales outlets, and revenue of SEK 4.0 billion (about EUR 356 million) for the 2024/2025 financial year. Kinnarps serves customers in approximately 40 countries and uses a reusable-blanket delivery system in place of disposable packaging.
