Company background
Bürotime was established in 1994 in the Konya Organized Industrial Zone, Turkey, under Tosunoğulları Mobilya A.Ş. (founded 1980), which remains its parent company; the Bürotime brand was formalized in 2000, and headquarters relocated to Istanbul in 2003. The company manufactures from a 140,000 m² facility and states it sells to 50 countries through roughly 150 sales points. In 2014 Bürotime became the first Turkish office furniture manufacturer to receive GREENGUARD Gold certification. Its "Note" chair won a Red Dot Design Award (2017), an iF Design Award (2018), and a German Design Award (2019).
